New Delhi: Dera Sachcha Sauda chief Ram Rahim's troubles have increased. He has received a big blow from the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has stayed the order of the Punjab-Haryana High Court in the sacrilege case of Guru Granth Sahib.
In March, the Punjab Haryana High Court had stayed the ongoing investigation in three cases against Gurmeet Ram Rahim on charges of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib in Bargari. This order was challenged by the Punjab government in the Supreme Court. Today the Supreme Court has lifted the stay on investigation imposed by the Punjab-Haryana High Court. The Supreme Court has issued a notice to Ram Rahim and sought his reply within four weeks.
