A video of trampling on a bike's silencer (exhaust) has surfaced from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It can be seen in this video that hundreds of silencers are kept in the middle of the road. A bulldozer (road roller) is being run over these silencers kept in a line. As soon as the bulldozer comes down, the silencers are stuck to the road. The decision to crush the silencer with a road roller was taken by Andhra Pradesh Police itself. According to the police, the silencers that were destroyed were modified and made loud noise.
The police destroyed these silencers in the middle of the road with the sole purpose of making people aware of noise pollution and motivating them to follow traffic rules. Along with this, Joe felt that he wanted to install such a modified silencer in his car. The fear of police instills in them and they avoid doing this.
Noise pollution is a big problem
Noise pollution has become a big problem in India. There is a lot of noise especially on the roads. The biggest reason for this is the horns of vehicles. In India, people have a strong tendency to blow their horns unnecessarily. For this, Indian drivers are made fun of all over the world. The owner of Taiwanese company Gorgoro Electric Bike had said during the launch of the vehicle in India that Indian people use horns like radar.
