Bomb threat in 10 planes of Indigo and Akasa, 70 cases reported in 6 days – Top News Bulletin


New Delhi: The series of bomb threats on planes is not stopping. Due to the bomb threat, there was chaos at the airport today and the passengers also had to face trouble. Bomb threats were received on 10 different flights on Saturday. Of these, five flights are of IndiGo and five flights of Akasa Airlines.

According to the information, bomb threat was received in 6E108 Hyderabad-Chandigarh, 6E58 Jeddah-Mumbai, 6E17 Mumbai-Istanbul, 6E184 Jodhpur-Delhi, 6E11 Delhi-Istanbul flights. Till the latest information was received, an emergency landing was made in the Indigo flight going from Darbhanga to Mumbai after receiving a bomb threat. Since the flight was coming from Darbhanga to Mumbai, there was no alteration in it… The flight has reached its destination safely and Mumbai Police and Airport Security Department are doing their job as per all necessary protocols.

Till now, Mumbai Police had registered a total of 7 FIRs in different cases in bomb threat cases. In view of the continuous increase in such cases, the police said that their number may increase further. At present, the police is investigating where these threat calls came from in the plane. A case will be registered only on the basis of investigation. Immediately after the landing of the flight, necessary steps will be taken following all the protocols and keeping in mind the safety of the passengers.

Earlier, there had been a bomb threat in three international flights of the aviation company 'Vistara', which later turned out to be false. As a precaution, a plane was diverted to Frankfurt. The Air India Express flight coming from Dubai to Jaipur made an emergency landing at Jaipur airport late on Friday night after receiving a bomb threat. However, after investigation the threat turned out to be a “rumour”.
