Former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has received a big blow from the Supreme Court in the degree case of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Supreme Court has refused to cancel the summons issued in the criminal defamation case. The Supreme Court has rejected the petition of former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal against the order of Gujarat High Court.
Kejriwal demanded a stay on the issued summons
Arvind Kejriwal had challenged the summons issued by the lower court and sought a stay on the case. Earlier, Gujarat High Court had also rejected Kejriwal's demand. In April 2024, the Supreme Court had rejected the demand of Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh in the same matter.
Did not get relief even from Gujarat High Court
Let us tell you that Gujarat University Registrar Piyush Patel has filed a defamation case against the comments of Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh. Gujarat High Court has not given relief to Arvind Kejriwal on this.
