What is the whole matter?
On the orders of District Magistrate Uday Raj Singh, the Revenue Department team under the leadership of Deputy District Magistrate Kaustubh Mishra has taken action to take possession of 207 acres of sealing land of Bakhpur and other villages under Kichha tehsil area.
To take possession of this land, the revenue team and police force under the leadership of Sub-Collector Kaustubh Mishra, Tehsildar Girish Tripathi, Police Area Officer Bahadur Singh Chauhan had camped at Calcutta outpost since this morning. Where the Sub-Collector gave a briefing and gave directions to the police and administration team. After this, the administration has taken possession of three places by demarcating them.
Deputy District Magistrate Kaustubh Mishra said that in 1982, a case regarding sealing of land in various villages of Kichha tehsil was settled by the Honorable High Court of Allahabad. In which the ceiling land was separated and the remaining land was given to the owner. The transfer of land after the formation of the state was not in favor of the state government.
Let us tell you that the Uttarakhand government is continuously running a campaign to free the land from encroachment, under which illegal encroachment has been removed on many lands and legal action has been taken to free those lands.
