Bhadrak: Violence has erupted in Bhadrak, Odisha due to a controversial social media post. During this, the mob also attacked the policemen. To handle the situation, the administration immediately imposed Section 163 in the area and internet services have been shut down.

There was a huge uproar in Bhadrak due to a controversial social media post. People from a particular community took out a rally to protest against the social media post. Since the rally was being taken out without permission, the crowd got angry at the policemen who arrived to stop the rally. There was a clash between policemen and the crowd, in which police officers were injured.

Stones were pelted at police vehicles, due to which the vehicles suffered considerable damage. This rally was taken out in protest against a controversial video near Santhiya in Purana Bazar police station area of ​​Bhadrak. The rally gradually turned violent and went out of control.

After this the police resorted to lathi charge and Section 163 was imposed indefinitely in the area and 10 platoons of security forces were deployed. Due to the controversial post, people of a particular community surrounded the Dhamnagar police station. In this incident, 9 people have been detained and Section 163 has also been imposed in Dhamnagar. Along with this, 4 platoons of security forces have been deployed in the area.
