After the violence on Sunday in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, the police have intensified their investigation. Police have identified more than 100 stone pelters through mobile CCTV and drone cameras. Of these, 27 accused have been arrested. Some minor boys are also included in these. Meanwhile, the police have made a shocking revelation quoting the arrested accused. The accused stone pelters had adopted a terrible trick to escape from the tear gas of the police.
How to avoid tear gas
Among the accused of violence arrested by the Sambhal police, there are three accused who, when caught by the police, had a green colored lotion applied above and below their eyes. When the police interrogated those arrested accused, they told the police that they had applied this green colored lotion to protect themselves from tear gas. By applying this green lotion the effect of tear gas on their eyes is reduced.
Three women also arrested
The police have also arrested three women for pelting stones and inciting violence against the police force in Sambhal. In the Sambhal violence case, the police have registered separate cases, one of which includes the names of Sambhal MP Ziaur Rahman Vark and Suhail Iqbal, son of Sambhal MLA Iqbal Mahmood. After this, on the complaint of the families of the four youths killed in the Sambhal violence, the police have registered separate cases.
Police are raiding various places to nab the remaining accused. The police are first investigating on whose instructions the crowd gathered around Jama Masjid on the day of violence. The second question for the police to investigate is who instigated the crowd present at the spot to commit violence.
