After the Samosa incident, decree issued in Himachal, CM's photo will not be shared without permission – Top News Bulletin

A unique order has been issued after the samosa incident in Himachal Pradesh. Now CM Sukhu's pictures cannot be shared without permission. According to the order, all government departments and government agencies will have to take permission from the Director of Information and Public Relations before releasing the photographs of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. Without this permission no photo of the CM can be shared.

This ban will apply to photographs of the Chief Minister taken during departmental meetings, official programs or public functions. In a letter to secretaries and departmental heads, DIPR said it has come to its notice that photographs of the Chief Minister are being released to the media without prior approval.

Photos can harm the image

The letter expressed apprehension that in some cases, these photographs show inappropriate expressions and could potentially damage the public image of the Chief Minister. “This irregular circulation of photographs may have far-reaching consequences, affecting the image and perception of the Chief Minister as well as the government,” the letter said.

Government became alert after samosa incident

The government has become alert after the samosa incident that happened recently in a CID program. Actually, CM Sukhu had attended a program in which samosas and cake were ordered from Hotel Radisson. This cake was meant for senior officers, but due to a misunderstanding, it was distributed among the security personnel. In such a situation, an uproar broke out and CID started an investigation. The investigating officer called it an anti-government act and the investigation report was leaked. As soon as the investigation report came out, the opposition raised an issue and said that if someone else ate the CM's samosas, a CBI investigation would be conducted. Later, from CM Sukhu to the government public relations officer and CID officer also gave clarification. However, the opposition is still cornering the government over samosas. This order has been issued only to avoid such a situation. (Input- PTI)
