NIS America has released a demo of Ys X: Nordics on all platforms today. It will give fans an early preview before the full game launches next week on October 25, 2024. The demo is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. NIS also announced that if you play the demo now, your progress will carry over to the full game when it releases. In the game, you will join Adol Christin and his unlikely companion, the pirate Karja Balta, as they explore the dangerous waters of the Gulf of Obelia. Together, they must protect the people from the mysterious, immortal creatures known as Griegr. The demo will allow you to immerse yourself in fast-paced combat with powerful offenses and defenses, unleash elemental attacks using Manaburst, and enjoy exciting sailing adventures. Engage in battles on both land and sea, either alone or with a partner.
