Pokémon TCG Pocket is The Pokémon Company's latest foray into the mobile gaming scene, creating a new digital TCG format for players focused on collecting on iOS and Android. The game has been advertised tirelessly with gorgeous animations of pulling packs and getting in-app exclusive cards, so fans of the physical TCG will want to get in on this.
Despite the cute art and bright animations of the countdown of the last few days before launch, it's not clear what time. Pokémon TCG Pocket it will really be playable. Below we list approximately what time the game should be available at different times around the world.
What time does Pokémon TCG Pocket release in your time zone?
The Japanese X account for the game notes that The service will begin on Wednesday, October 30 around noon. J.S.T.so going from that, the game should start in around these times worldwide:
Of course, this is just an approximation, so the game may go up sooner or later. A specific time for the game's release has not yet been announced.
This time conflicts with the App Store release date of October 31, but note that the official website lists October 30 as the release date.
Can you preload Pokémon TCG Pocket?
At the time of writing this post (October 29 at 12 pm EDT), you cannot preload the game before launch. The exception is, of course, for the people of New Zealand, who were able to play a little earlier than the rest of the world as part of some of the early tests.
You can pre-order the game and set it to automatically download to your devices when it's available, if you're really excited.
