Check out Vestiges: Fallen Tribes
French indie studio WanadevStudio has revealed the first gameplay trailer for its upcoming title Vestiges: Fallen Tribes. It is a turn-based strategic card game with auto-combat mechanics that will arrive in Early Access on October 3, 2024.
In this version, players will be able to build their decks, play solo challenges, and join public or private matches to compete with others and rise through the ranks. The game will support VR when it launches in Early Access, and a development roadmap will be released very soon.
Vestiges: Fallen Tribes is set in a unique sci-fi tribal universe, where the consequences of human greed have devastated the planet. After years of overusing resources and destroying ecosystems, the climate is in chaos and water, once abundant, is now incredibly scarce. The fight over water led to endless wars, until humanity finally became extinct.
The few that remain found a new way to resolve their disputes without more violence. To avoid repeating the same mistakes, they created a game. It allows them to recreate past battles, but in a strategic and peaceful way. The stakes are still high, but the prize now is survival, with water as the ultimate reward.
Game sessions are fast and fun, with solo challenges that get more difficult as you progress. It also rewards you with interesting customization options. In PvP mode, you can compete to rise through the ranks and show your skills among the best players.
