UGreen Nexode Pro 65W 3-Port Charger Review
If you want to revive multiple devices at once, the UGreen Nexode Pro 65W Charger might be a good option for you. This charger has three ports, two of which are USB-C and the other USB-A, and has a maximum total power of 65W.
Those 65W will likely be enough to access fast charging for your phone, even with all three slots in use. That's because USB-C 1 port has a solid 45W maximum output with triple charging, and the other two can provide up to 15W. However, if you're hoping to get maximum charging speeds on three power-hungry devices , this may not be enough. Fortunately, there are more powerful alternatives, such as the Anker Prime 100W GaN Wall Charger (3-Port), which boasts a higher total output power.
However, actual charging performance is solid here. To test the charging speed, I connected the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE to the USB-C 1 port, the Soundcore Space One Pro to the USB-C 2 port, and the LG Tone Free T90S to the USB-A slot. Even with all three ports in use, the Samsung phone was able to go from 0% to 100% in the expected time frame of about 80 minutes; That's what you'd expect from some of the best iPhone chargers and the best Android phone chargers.
On top of that, this charger is quite small (it doesn't stick out too far from the socket), ideal if you're working in a tight space. This is due in part to the use of GaN technology, which offers improved power efficiency and a more compact build than typical silicon chargers. However, one issue I had with the design is that the plug prongs are not foldable. So, if you want to keep the charger in your pocket, you may feel the prongs digging into your side; that's not ideal. Also, the look of the UGreen Nexode Pro 65W may not be the prettiest. The main body of the charger is an attractive silver cuboid, but the adapter on the front seems somewhat shoehorned in, resulting in a slightly awkward appearance.
Overall, though, it's still a solid quality, fast charging plug. Granted, its list price of $55.99/£44.99 (around AU$85) is certainly pretty steep, especially considering the very similar Anker 335 (67W) charger, but without GaN, costs only $35.99 / £36.99 (around AU$55). and It comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable. But again, the UGreen Nexode Pro 65W 3-Port Charger will almost certainly please you in terms of performance, but don't expect class-leading value or design.
