Steam's next, shall we say, Next Fest is almost here, offering “hundreds of amazing demos of games that haven't even been released yet.”
Steam Next Fest, which launches tomorrow and runs until October 21, features a host of vertical sections that you can try before you buy, including demos of upcoming games like Antonblast, Microtopia, Mini Royale, The Precinct, and a game that will allows it to be a bar. -Tabby vampire, Blood Bar Tycoon.
Other games offering free demos include Sulphur, Battle Train, Call of Boba, Knights in Tight Spaces, Luma Island and the intriguingly titled Is This Game Trying to Kill Me? (Yes. Yes it is.)

“No matter what kind of game you're in the mood for, developers around the world are showing off their demos during Next Fest, seeking player feedback, and waiting for wishlists,” Steam teases.
Ahead of new California legislation requiring stores to make it clear that customers are only purchasing a license for digital content rather than owning it directly, Steam has implemented a point-of-purchase message that does just that.
