Minecraft has so many niche communities built around the game's endless blocky possibilities that you may not know that Minecraft parkour is even a stuff – let alone something that has gone viral on TikTok and is now inspiring other indie games.
Building Relationships is the quirky adventure game that we previously reported is “like A Short Hike but stupid” thanks to the fact that it literally stars sentient buildings looking to date each other. You move around like in a normal house, exploring different biomes, fishing, courting apartments and windmills and other similar constructions. It's essentially an open-ended dating sim that revels in healthy kink.
But Building Relationships creator Tanat Boozayaangool has now revealed an additional layer to the game: platforming inspired by Minecraft parkour. Minecraft parkour is a game mode where players wait from block to block on obstacle courses that will probably be a huge headache for whoever has the controller in their hand, although it's a pretty zen and calm watch for any TikToker who look to fly 10 seconds. for faster
“I may have also gotten into Minecraft parkour civilization and added platforming challenges to my game,” Boozayaangool tweeted earlier this week, along with a clip of Building Relationships struggling up a mountainside. Its Steam page even describes a wave motion that allows our house to launch into the air, which should add an extra touch to the platforming challenges that await us in the final game when it releases next year.

Others similar to Minecraft parkour include the first-person concrete jumper Beton Brutal and the underground drop Lorn's Lure, which almost fits the description as you can grab onto any wall with spikes.
