A group of Pokémon content creators broke a world record by capturing the brightest Pokémon as a team in 24 hours, with a massive collective hunt that ended in 1,708 shiny finds.
Shiny Pokémon are, without a doubt, the most sought-after finds in almost every Pokémon game. To find one of these shiny Pokémon with an alternate color palette, you might have odds as low as 1/8,192, but that's what makes them so exciting to find. Needless to say, the idea of heading a world record set in 2022in which a group of players captured 588 of the rarities in 24 hours, was always going to be a difficult task. However, YouTube creator PM7, whose real name is John, rose to the challenge and assembled his own dream team of 92 fellow brilliant hunters (including himself) to take on the task over the weekend.
The rules were simple: participants had to not only find but catch as many shinys as they could within the 24-hour limit. That means that not only did everyone have to beat the odds to find the rare variations in the first place, but their efforts would be in vain if they accidentally knocked out their targets, ran away from them, or lost them in any other disturbing situation. shape.

It is also worth noting that hunters could use different methods to increase your brilliant odds – PM7 was looking for his goals in Pokémon Scarlet and Violetwhere he made use of the special 'shiny sandwich' recipes to increase his chances of finding them. These sandwiches can be combined with the Shiny Charm item and the Mass Outbreak method (which involves knocking out or catching 60 Pokémon in a Mass Outbreak) for odds up to 1/512.44, much better than the base odds of 1/8192. . I would face off in the older games.
All in all, to say that the group broke the previous record would be an understatement. Altogether, the group almost tripled the previous number, having found an average of 18.6 shines each. Obviously, you can't find 0.6 of a shiny, so the number of finds varied from person to person: PM7 himself finished the event with 55 of them, according to the brilliant Pokémon record of the event.
It's an enormous feat, and there's no doubt it would be a monstrous task to try to break the record again unless even more hunters came on board. At the moment, though, we probably won't see this number change again anytime soon: GG to everyone who made this happen.
Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow are full of ultra-rare, invisible shines, and this RPG mod will make sure you never miss one again.
