A new clip from the curious live-action Minecraft movie is here.
Courtesy of Minecraft Live, the clip is less than a minute long but expands on the first look at the live-action movie we got earlier this month.
As of now, the clip hasn't been formally uploaded to YouTube, but you can watch it at 34:30 in the Minecraft Live video included below, or in the X/Twitter post just below.
The clip shows Steve (Jack Black) showing off exactly how his workbench works.
While the sword Black creates seems pretty cool to me, Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison (Jason Momoa) looks to make something even more impressive… with less successful results.

“Welcome to the world of Minecraft, where creativity not only helps you create, it is essential for survival,” reads the official blurb.

“Four misfits – Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison (Momoa), Henry (Sebastian Eugene Hansen), Natalie (Emma Myers) and Dawn (Danielle Brooks) – find themselves struggling with everyday problems when they are suddenly swept through a mysterious portal to the Overworld: a strange cubic wonderland that thrives on the imagination.
“To return home, they will have to dominate this world (and protect it from evil things like Piglins and Zombies, too) as they embark on a magical quest with an unexpectedly skilled craftsman, Steve (Black). Together, their adventure will challenge the five to be bold and reconnect with the qualities that make them uniquely creative…the same skills they need to thrive in the real world.”
The Minecraft movie is currently set to debut in theaters next year on April 4. For more information on how the film was made, including its set design, head to 30:21 in the video embedded above.
