It's no secret that vinyl record sales have skyrocketed in recent years. Artists and fans who have grown tired of the digital age of streaming services have leaned more toward collectibility and ownership of tangible physical media. That is the reason why the global vinyl market grew by approximately $1.5 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach $2.4 billion by 2030, according to reports.
Of course, hardware manufacturers are trying to compete with each other with the best turntables aimed at a new generation of buyers. At CES 2025, there were several companies trying to create players that catered to different demographics as well as price points. One thing that definitely connects them all is that they are ultra stylish and offer some cool features beyond playing vinyl. Here are my favorite turntable spinners and accessories I saw at CES.
Victrola Journey Glow
Victrola has built a solid reputation for offering some of the most interesting turntables available on the market, for a wide range of budgets. This time, the company caters to RGB lighting-crazed gamers with Journey Glow.
One of many entry-level turntables announced this year, the suitcase player has LED lighting that has multiple settings for the musical light show and offers Bluetooth streaming. The most attractive feature is the price, which starts at $79.99 when it drops in the spring of this year. I don't know how good it will sound for that price (although Victrola makes great value budget turntables), but I know it will be popular.
Lenco LS-570WA
Swiss electronics manufacturer Lenco has been offering great turntables for over 75 years, and that continues today. Aside from advertising some mid-priced offerings via the LBTA-165WD and LBT-215, the one that caught my eye the most in person was the LS-570WA. The all-in-one turntable system combines retro aesthetics with modern technological conveniences that will fit well in any home.
Resting on four elegant removable stands, the LS-570WA has an integrated four-speaker 80W sound system and a switchable preamplifier for use with external systems. Through Bluetooth reception, users can even stream music from other devices. Already available in the UK and EU for £389 / €389, the US will have the chance to purchase the LS-570WA for $469 when it launches in April.
Gadhouse COSMO Solar Edition
Gadhouse announced that it was updating its stylish COSMO portable turntables with a new Solar Edition. Priced at $199 (£199, $399) when it launched in February, the device is loaded with dozens of features including Bluetooth streaming, music file playback via USB and SD card, and even offers an FM radio.
Available in a variety of colors, the turntable has built-in speakers along with two headphone jacks for companion listening. The device features Gadhouse's G cartridge along with tone control options. And don't get too excited about the name: there's no solar power here. Just an original design and a wild set of features.
Lenco TTA-080SI Disc Stabilizer
Turntable (or simply record) weights or stabilizers are an option for vinyl listeners who have a more affordable entry-level turntable to ensure a quality listening experience. Sitting on the shaft and recording during playback, it helps nullify any wobble or vibration in a platter that is not as heavy or as damped as a high-quality turntable would be.
Going the extra mile beyond simply adding this weight and stabilization, the Lenco TTA-080SI record stabilizer is a dome-shaped accessory that practically adds a disco ball to the user's turntable while it does its main job. An interesting feature is that it pulses its RGB lighting effects at the same time as the music playing. The drive will run for around eight hours before charging via the USB-C port. Already available in the UK and EU for £39/€39, US buyers will have to wait until April for it to be available for $49.
victrola wave
For vinyl fans who want a good quality mid-range turntable with a stylish design and future-proof functionality, the Wave should definitely be on your radar. Available in three gorgeous colors, the turntable is expected to hit stores this spring for $399.
One of the standout features is its support for Bluetooth 5.4 and Auracast, the latter of which allows users to stream from one device to a nearly infinite number of compatible Bluetooth devices, including speakers and headphones, without pairing. But there's also aptX Adaptive and aptX HD for high-quality 24-bit listening over Bluetooth if you want maximum wireless quality in one device. And it has a switchable preamp, so you can connect it directly to active speakers or make it part of a separate, more customized system. Almost everything you want from a modern turntable, the Wave has it.
