The writer J. Michael Straczynski is in the midst of his Shots series matching improbable Marvel heroes and villains who have had few meetings, and the next one will bring together Volstagg of the Asgardian warriors three with Steve Rogers, the original Captain America.
We have an early preview of the artist Bernard Chang's letters without letters. And although they still do not have words balloons, the pages offer the great emotion, showing the new Asgardian armor of Steve Rogers, complete with an own Warhammer. It may not have the power of Mjolnir, but surely he looks great along with the Steve armor and his starry shield.

“While Volstagg recruits the sentry of freedom! When a war explodes in the nine kingdoms, Volstagg of the Warriors three turns to the only man expert enough to end: Steve Rogers, Captain America!” Read the official Marvel description of Captain America and Volstagg #1. “JMS is equipped with visionary artist Bernard Chang for the second in a series of singles who gather unlikely Marvel characters for stories like any other!”
The unlikely Marvel matching series of Straczynski began with Dr. Doom and Rocket Raccoon of January 22, which, as indicated by the title, brought together the Latin Monarch with the guardians of the Irascible engineering genius of the galaxy.
Strazcynski has just finished a career in Captain America, marking the last era in his Marvel career. In past years, Straczynski has also had favorite fans races at Amazing Spider-Man and Thor.
Captain America & Volstagg #1 goes on sale on February 26.
