Roman Reigns will be the WWE 2K25 cover star, the next of the long -term wrestling series, along with its biggest list.
It will also include a new island mode to complete the challenges in an attempt to impress “the original tribal chief” Roman Roman Reina.
The new game will be released in March (7 or 14, depending on the edition) on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam, although the island will only be available in the PS5 and Xbox X XBox series /S versions.
The island will be a world that consists of areas based on different WWE songs where players can complete missions, assume challenges, compete in live events and update MySuperstars characters through stories chapters.
Meanwhile, the game list will include 300 fighters, including superstar, legends and the hall of fame, from John Cena and The Rock, to “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Trish Stratus and more.
Other additions include a third -person camera for online matches (separated by each player); The 2k Showcase: The Bloodline's Dynsty Mode celebrating the iconic Dynasty of the Wrestling Family; Intergender Wrestling makes its debut in all game modes; and the return of promotions in universe mode.
The creation suite will also be updated according to each new game, which is considered one of the creators of more detailed and robust characters.
“I am personally and professionally excited that the original and unique tribal boss and the extended anoa'i family are the focus of the WWE 2K25,” Roman Reigns said. “We have been building towards this moment during generations and challenge to players everywhere to show me my Wiseman, Paul Heyman, what they have, and show that they are worthy of the attention of their tribal boss.”
“WWE 2K25 expands in our winning formula in almost all aspects of the player's experience,” said Greg Thomas, president of Visual Concepts developers. “Our new approach to the stories of 2k Showcase and Myrise really take advantage of the creativity of the development team, and we are excited to see our community enjoy these updated characteristics.”
