Pre-order Red Dead Redemption now
The wait is finally over! Pre-orders for the long-awaited PC version of Red Dead Redemption are now available, with the price set at $49.99. This cost is the same on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Rockstar's official website. For that price, you'll get the full single-player game experience along with the Undead Nightmare expansion and additional Game of the Year Edition content. However, multiplayer is not included.
Rockstar announced earlier this week that the PC version of Red Dead Redemption will launch on October 29. It marks 14 years since its initial release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2010. Along with the content mentioned above, it will also offer the following features:
– Native resolution of 4K and higher up to 144 Hz on compatible hardware
– Monitor support for both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9)
– Full keyboard and mouse support
– Enhanced technologies support for Nvidia DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0
– Generation of Nvidia DLSS frames
– Adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings and more
The long-awaited PC version was developed by Double Eleven, the same team behind the Red Dead Redemption ports for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Prior to this week's official announcement, rumors had been circulating for a while. In August, the PlayStation Store even mistakenly listed the game as “now on PC,” after data miners found clues about the port on Rockstar's Website.
