Sony has announced its monthly PlayStation Plus lineup for November and it includes the first day launch for an all-new Death Note game.
- Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged
- Ghostwire: Tokyo
- Death Note killer inside
The highlight here is surely Death Note Killer Within, which Bandai Namco announced today. It is described as the “first social deduction game based on the legendary anime series.”
The online game has cross-play support and will see up to 10 players face the choice between life and death.
“Divided into two teams, players must discover each other's identities to eliminate L or snatch the Death Note from Kira,” reads the official blurb. “Kira and L are equals, each hiding their true identity as they fight for control of the game. Engage in a game of wits as either Kira and her follower, or L and the investigators, as both sides compete for the hidden Death Note .leading to a thrilling showdown between truth and deception until one team prevails.”
Players can take on the role of Kira, L, Kira Follower, or Investigator at the game's launch, with each role providing the opportunity to experience “unique gameplay features.” You can watch a trailer for Death Note Killer Within above.
In addition to PlayStation (where it can also be purchased separately), Death Note Killer Within is also coming to PC via Steam on November 5. We previously learned about this new Death Note game at the beginning of the month, thanks to a rating in Taiwan.
As a reminder, PlayStation Plus members only have until November 4 to add October's offerings (WWE 2K24, Dead Space, and Doki Doki Literature Club Plus) to their libraries.
