Tonight's Chapter 2 Remix: The Prelude live event has just concluded in Fortnite, with over 10 million players in the game and millions more watching via YouTube and TikTok.
When the Fortnite in-game countdown clock hit zero, it was revealed that tonight's event was a live-streamed concert held for real in New York's Times Square, where Ice Spice and Snoop Dogg performed in front of a large crowd. .
Both singers will join the next season of Fortnite, Chapter 2 Remix, which begins tomorrow. Also joining them in the game is the return of Eminem, who headlined last year's Big Bang game event and who appears to be getting another look.
An even more surprising addition, perhaps, will be the late rapper and Fortnite fan Jarad “Juice WRLD” Higgins. Players who log in on November 30, when Chapter 2 Remix concludes with an additional live event, will get a cel-shaded Slayer Juice WRLD skin for free. Chapter 2 Remix will run for four weeks and feature a new music artist each week, set in familiar locations from Chapter 2. Snoop (who is also the featured artist for Fortnite Festival Season 6) will set up shop at The Agency, while Eminem appears on November 7 at The Grotto, Ice Spice appears in week three on November 14 at Shark Island and a new milestone will be dedicated. to Juice WRLD arrives in week four, starting November 21.
As for gameplay, Chapter 2 Remix will see the long-awaited return of motorboats, with helicopters returning later in the season. Snoop's 1966 Cadillac DeVille with hydraulic rebound will also be available, and yes, you can make it jump in the air.
