Amazon's October Prime Day is a great opportunity to save on big-ticket gaming and tech products. It's also a time to get deals on affordable devices that can make life a little easier. One such example is a compact folding keyboard, which we think should be part of any Steam Deck owner's repertoire. We found three great deals during Day 2 of Prime Day, starting with the model featured in our guide to the best accessories for Valve's Steam Deck laptop PC, the iClever BK08 Bluetooth keyboard that includes a trackpad. It's just $41.33 (was $52.99).
A keyboard like this is useful for entering chat text, as well as for easier navigation in Steam Deck's desktop mode. It's certainly better than using the on-screen keyboard to enter URLs and terminal commands, or more easily navigate the file system, in case you like trying out emulators. It's worth noting that this and all the other keyboards mentioned in this post also work with mobile devices, tablets, and PCs.
You may not need a trackpad regularly, especially if it comes at the cost of losing your keys. If so, you can save even more money during Prime Day. The iClever BK03 (pictured at the top of this post) features a more extended set of keys instead of a trackpad, but the foldable design is very similar. This model costs $31.99 (was $43.99).
Both iClever keyboards offer low-profile switches, providing a quiet typing experience. However, if you crave the sound of a mechanical keyboard in foldable form, a company called Royal Kludge has answered your very specific desires with its F68 backlit mechanical keyboard. Compared to iClever models that fold in on themselves like a triptych, the F68 folds lengthwise. It's also discounted for Prime Day and costs $43.99 (was $54.99).
