Team Asobi has casually released a never-before-seen Astro Bot quickrun stage.
The challenge, which debuted at this weekend's PlayStation tournament, (which you can watch below), saw speedrunners explore an unknown level to secure the fastest time in a bid to win the final.
The two finalists had five attempts to set the fastest time on a devilishly difficult level, using the flower umbrella and slow motion to speed up the race as much as possible.
Team Circle's Rhys took a win with a stunning run time of 34.51.6s, narrowly beating Team Square's equally impressive 34.84.1s.
There was no word from the commentary team on whether the general public will eventually get the chance to run the challenge as well, but Bot fans are hopeful that Team Asobi hasn't yet given up on patching in a cheeky cameo or two given several mentioned games. in the credits have not yet been discovered.
