Digital Foundry called Marvel's Spider -Man 2 to “New Showcase” for visual details and lightning layouts when it was launched for PS5 in 2023, and its new version of PC, cover by the Nixxes owned by Sony, is looking to build that with a range of additions centered on the platform.
In its PC Spider-Man 2 blog post, for example, Sony Stopps, “new ray options with individual quality configurations for Fineune Performance and Fidelity in a wide range of hardware configurations.” There is also talk of configurations for interiors, shadows and environmental occlusion of Raytraced, adding what Sony calls “an additional layer of credibility with realistic shadows and greater depth to the game.”
Players with hardware enough robust can also take advantage of an increase in the configuration of ray geometry details, allowing higher quality meshes for rays. There is also a sliding control of objects, which allows users to manually adjust the range in which objects are considered for ray traffic, as well as admits the reconstruction of DLSS and DLSS 3 and FSR 3.1 rays for the generation of qualification and the generation of Marcos. All of which leads us to the requirements of the Marvel Spider-Man 2 PC system, with the minimum Sony specification aimed at 720p at 30 fps in very low settings. Those with considerably more powerful hardware (that is, an RTX 4090 and I9-12900K/Ryzen 7 7800x3D) can point to 60 fps to 4K resolutions, using very high ray tracking configurations.
