LG has announced two new projectors for CES 2025, which it calls successors to last year's CineBeam Q. The PF600U may look like a standing fan, but it's actually a projector that's also a Bluetooth speaker and LED mood lamp. Its lighting has nine colors and five brightness levels, so you can customize it to create the atmosphere you want. Tilt your head and you get a projector that can produce images up to 120 inches in size with FHD (1920 x 1080) resolution and 300 ANSI lumens of brightness. You can stream movies, shows, and other content from streaming platforms through LG's webOS.
The company's other projector is the direct successor to the CineBeam Q. CineBeam S is now LG's smallest ultra-short throw 4K projector, weighing just 5.5 pounds. It is capable of delivering images up to 100 inches, with 4K UHD resolution and 500 ANSI lumens of brightness, and only needs “a few centimeters of free wall space.” It's Dolby Atmos capable and, like the PF600U, runs LG's webOS. The device has a metallic finish and was designed to be portable, so you can easily install it anywhere you want. Since it was designed to move, LG gave it intuitive features that can automatically align your screen, adjust its colors based on the wall, and resize your image to fit the dimensions of the room.
LG has yet to reveal pricing and availability for the projectors, but will likely announce more details at CES 2025. It's worth noting that the CineBeam Q became available for pre-order in March 2024 and sold for $1,299.
