I've seen all the new Kindle tablets and just reviewed the Paperwhite Signature Edition, and while it's not a major improvement over previous Kindle tablets, it is a satisfying e-reader that manages to move faster than before, while getting a little brighter and easier to read. I also loved the extra-long battery life and the Paperwhite Signature is still durable enough to read on the beach or in the bathtub.

Why opt for the Signature Edition? You get double the storage, 32GB inside, which is great if you also listen to audiobooks. My Audible library is as long as my Kindle library, so I like to have extra space. There's also no need to consider ads on the lock screen on the Signature Edition, and I find it's better to see my book covers when the screen is locked.

The Signature Edition also has wireless charging and Amazon offers some simple and stylish charging stands to place your Kindle Paperwhite next to your bed and keep it charged. You can enjoy 12 weeks of reading if you're a casual reader and spend half an hour a day, but if books are your hobby, you'll want to charge more frequently.

The only Kindle I would consider for reading is the Kindle Colorsoft, but unfortunately Amazon's new color Kindle is not on sale for Black Friday. I'm sure you'll get a discount eventually – every Amazon product gets a price cut in due time. Unless you must have color on your Kindle now, I would wait until it drops in price.
