Joseph Quinn is about to shine as Johnny Storm in Marvel's upcoming Fantastic Four, but before stepping into the slightly tanned shoes of The Human Torch, he consulted Gladiator 2 co-star Pedro Pascal, not realizing they were about to join the MCU together.
“He's a wonderful man. He's a good friend. I remember talking to him during the break about the potential of doing Fantastic Four. He was telling me how excited he was for me to do it,” Quinn tells Total Film in our final interview. It will be published on Thursday, October 10 and will feature Gladiator 2 on the cover. “It turned out he was in talks to do it too. It's not like he kept it from me.”
Quinn continues: “But then it started moving in his direction and we were talking about it, his potential and the prospect of working together again. It's something we were both excited about. He's a very funny and talented man. . “We're having a good time.”
Before entering the first game of Marvel's Phase 6, Quinn and Pascal head to Ancient Rome to watch Gladiator 2, which also stars Paul Mescal, Denzel Washington, and Connie Nielsen returning for the sequel to the historical epic. by Ridley Scott from 2000.
