Homeworld 3 has revised its content plans, “unifying the delivery” of all remaining paid DLC and free content.
In an update posted on the official website, developer Blackbird Interactive said it was “combining the content into a single beat.” [to] Let us focus all our resources and provide everyone with a higher quality experience.”
“This change means that in November we will be releasing two content packs that were originally scheduled for 2025 with the goal of delivering the most complete Homeworld 3 experience and many of the changes previously requested,” the team explained.
“In total, you can expect three (3) free updates and two (2) paid DLCs that will be released as a major update in November.”

“With the changes we're making, we want to reassure those who purchased the Year One Pass that they'll get everything we previously promised. Additionally, we've made modifications to our plans to include community-requested features,” the team added.

“We appreciate your patience as we work to deliver our vision for Homeworld 3 post-launch in November,” the team concludes. “There will be many more elements coming beyond what we've outlined above, including new gameplay mechanics, optimizations to existing features, as well as bug fixes and performance improvements.”
