Nvidia has announced that its GeForce Now cloud gaming service will soon introduce a gaming time limit of 100 hours per month for paying Performance (formerly Priority) and Ultimate subscribers, although additional hours can be purchased for a fee.
Paying subscribers who want to use GeForce Now for more than the allotted 100 hours per month, which is about three hours per day, will now have to pay more: an additional 15 hours will cost $2.99 for Performance members and $5.00 for Performance members. 99 for anyone who subscribes to Ultimate. level. Nvidia's new restrictions will go into effect in early 2025, but all existing subscribers, as well as anyone who signs up before December 31 of this year, will continue to have unlimited streaming time until January 2026. The company also notes that Anyone currently subscribed to the GeForce Now Founders Tier will retain their unlimited gaming hours for life, as long as there is no gap in their membership. In addition to its playtime limitations, Nvidia has announced a number of new GeForce Now benefits. Subscribers to the newly rebranded Performance tier will soon be able to stream in 1440p instead of the previous 1080p, and ultrawide resolutions will also be supported. Additionally, all Performance and Ultimate subscribers will be able to save in-game graphics settings during streaming sessions.
