The New York Game Awards are almost here
The year is still full of exciting year-end events. Next on the list is the 14th annual New York Game Awards. Although no Nintendo game is competing for the prestigious 'Game of the Year' award, several first-party Switch titles have earned recognition in other categories. Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom stands out with its nomination for 'Best Children's Game'. Super Mario Party Jamboree also received a nomination in the same category, showing the fun and creativity that Nintendo continues to bring to the world of video games.

In addition to these, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is competing for 'best remake', with its updated version. It is capturing the attention of both players and critics. Meanwhile, the nominator selected Splatoon 3: Side Order as 'best DLC', showcasing its exciting new content. The new Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket also competes for the title of “best mobile game,” offering an engaging experience for fans on the go.

The 'Game of the Year' nominees are Balatro, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Astro Bot, UFO 50, 1000xRESIST, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Metaphor: ReFantazio, and EA Sports College Football 25.
