McGregor adds that they might be old enough to tell that part of the story, which he says he'd be happy to do, saying, “That way, Hayden and I can really get back together.”
That wasn't the actor's only idea either, as he talked about exploring the time between the end of Season 1 and where we meet Alec Guinness' Obi-Wan in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. “There has to be some more stories there and we definitely hope that exploring that would be the word to say,” McGregor concluded.
Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2 hasn't been commissioned, but the actor has been campaigning for it since the first season ended in 2022. You can watch the full interview via Agency's panel coverage, and his response starts at around the 1:30 mark.
