Eureka Serene: Unboxing and first impressions
Somehow, even the unboxing process of this chair oozed premium. The packaging was done very well; There were protective inserts and padding. And covers that helped ensure things didn't get scratched. Inside the box, some sections include the chair components, instruction manual and tools for assembly.
I was mesmerized by the fresh green color when I removed the cover from the main section of the chair. I'm not even a big fan of green, but this green is the type of green that looks more like nature and not an artificial green, although it is artificial as it is on a Napa leather chair. Anyway, the point is that this chair catches your eye when you first see it. It is fascinating and elegant.
Eureka Serene: quality of design and construction
Not only does this bougie chair have a designer look, but from the first time I touched the chair I could tell that legit, top quality materials were being used. That being said, the frame is sturdy and even has a 350 pound capacity, which is crazy, but shows the quality of these materials.
The chair features a modern and professional aesthetic with chrome details and that beautiful green color. The seat is made with a high-density molded foam cushion that will provide long-lasting comfort. Lastly, the base is solid, metal and has smooth-rolling wheels.

My team and I have rotated this chair to spend time with it since it is unique. So far we all agree that it is exceptionally comfortable, even for those who sit at their desks working all day without getting up unless necessary. Lumbar support minimizes the back strain we occasionally feel in other chairs, even ergonomic ones. And unlike other ergonomic chairs, this chair feels solid and like you're surrounded by it, but not in a way that causes claustrophobia, but rather in a way that makes you feel safe and like the chair isn't going to fall apart. or break. either way. The Serene features easy height and tilt adjustments, but that's about it when it comes to customization.
I should have realized I was going to miss having adjustable armrests. The Eureka Serene has no adjustments available for the armrests: they remain in place. Of course, they are lovely, comfortable armrests and are even in the right place about 85% of the time. Still, in that odd 15% of times, I miss not being able to make a quick adjustment of the chair's arms to achieve maximum comfort for whatever task I'm working on or position I'm in at the time.
