Clair Oscur: Expedition 33 is not out, but a film adaptation is already in process.
The developer Sandfall Interactive is working with the producer Story Kitchen, the team behind many adaptations of the movie to film, including Sonic's movies and the next Dredge movie, in the project.
The founders of Story Kitchen, Dmitri M. Johnson and Mike Goldberg, will produce the film with Elena Sandoval, Variety reported. So far, there is no director or cast attached to the project.
“We are delighted to collaborate with Sandfall Interactive to carry the rich and immersive world of 'Expedition 33' to the big screen,” said Johnson and Goldberg.
“The convincing narrative and the complex characters of the game provide a solid basis for a film experience that will resonate both the players and the cinephiles.”
Ed was very impressed with a view before Gamescom, thanks to his inspiration of the classic role -playing games of the Final Fantasy and Person.
“I hoped that fans in turn stand up and say 'Oh, this looks great. “It's as if we had aroused a sleeping dragon.”
Clair Oscur: Expedition 33 will be released on April 24 for PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, even via Game Pass on the first day.
