Assassin's Creed Mirage will make its debut on Steam, ushering in Ubisoft's full return to Valve's PC store.
Last month, Ubisoft announced that its new releases will launch on day one on Steam, starting with Assassin's Creed Shadows on February 14 of next year.
But before that, Steam users will also be able to get their hands on Assassin's Creed Mirage, which initially launched in October of last year on consoles and PC (but not through Steam).
“Welcome to Baghdad, 9th century. Discover the powerful story of Basim, a cunning street thief with nightmarish visions who seeks answers and justice,” reads a post from Ubisoft on the game's newly created Steam page.
“Join an ancient organization and understand a new creed, one that will change Basim's destiny in ways he could never have imagined.”
Ubisoft hasn't set a firm date for Mirage's release on Steam, simply stating that it will arrive sometime later this month. However, it is now available to add to wishlists.
While Ubisoft has made a habit of not releasing its games on Steam from the start in recent years, other titles have finally made their way to the store. For example, Assassin's Creed Valhalla and city-building strategy Anno 1800 finally arrived on the platform in 2022, having previously been available elsewhere.

“Through the warmth of family rituals that return after those bigger, more impactful games, I can see what is truly special about this series, what it takes to create, perhaps, and what it can give us in return,” he wrote in Eurogamer's Assassin's Creed. Mirage Review.
