Last month, we asked readers to donate to a couple of good causes in our Charity Drive 2024 giveaway. And boy, did you follow through? With the campaign now complete and all donations counted, we can report that Ars Technica readers gave the incredible amount of $39,047.66 to Child's Play and the Electronic Frontier Foundation in this year's campaign. This doesn't set a new record, but it nearly matches last year's total and brings our lifetime Ars Charity Drive donation haul from 2007 to on $540,000. Well done Arsians!
Thank you to everyone who gave what they could. We're still in the early stages of the process of selecting and notifying our giveaway winners, so don't worry if you don't know if you're a winner yet. In the meantime, enjoy these quick stats from the 2024 trip.
