For years, Discord has been the go-to app for chatting with your friends while playing together, but Teamspeak is looking to change that.
We all like to think that advertising doesn't affect us, but I have to admit that I love it when a company gets a little cheeky and criticizes its competitors. Teamspeak has been posting on Twitter about its new update, which should arrive sometime next day, and in addition to telling us all about its new features, it's been telling people to delete their Discord accounts.
However, Teamspeak faces strong competition and knows it. Discord has become almost synonymous with online gaming. Even on a professional level, many pre-events are organized through Discord.

Teamspeak has been sharing a link to the Discord support page that explains how you can cancel your Nitro subscription. Cool. Teamspeak seems confident that it will no longer need it when this new update is released.
Teamspeak encourages people and also shares some useful tips. Dogtummy wants to give other users nicknames so they don't have to see usernames like vtuberfeet (who can blame them?) and it turns out you can already do that. I would use it just to change each display name to people's real name. Otherwise I get very confused.
Will you try Teamspeak now?
