Games Done Quick has raised over $54 million for charities over the past 15 years of its incredible speedrunning.
The organization has just concluded its annual Awesome Games Done Quick 2025 event, where it hosted a runner who capped off a game of Ratchet and Clank with a spectacular performance by Opera, two streamers who settled into a controller to beat The Legend of Zelda: Breath. of the Wild, and another who speed dated in Fallout: New Vegas.
As is typical for the event, AGDQ 2025 was another wildly entertaining, non-stop week as speedrunners had fun on the stream and pushed themselves with some truly creative challenges. And viewers quite liked it, donating over $2,556,305 to the Prevent Cancer Foundation. That brings Games Done Quick's lifetime charity total raised to more than £54 million.
This year's festivities closed with four streamers competing to beat Super Metroid with a random map activated. You can watch the entire hour-long tournament below, or you can skip to the end to see how angry the crowd got when things finally got serious.

“Thank you to everyone who made this marathon possible and to all of you for your incredible generosity and support,” the event tweeted today. “See you all next time.”
