When she is scammed out of £10,000, she puts her sharp wit and determination first to take matters into her own hands and embark on a city-wide mission to recover her money.
The film, which was also written by Margolin, is inspired by her own grandmother's real-life experience and combines comedy and drama with classic action movie tropes.

When paired with an older boy, James (Chris Clearly Miles), Holt gains insight into the boy's troubled life by learning of his mother's suicide and his father's criminal past.
