Mumbai Television star Urvashi Dholakia, best remembered for her role as the villain Komolika in “Kasautii Zindagii Kay”, revealed how her “weekend” began. Urvashi shared a picture on her Instagram in which she is sitting in a salon getting her hair done.
Urvashi wrote in the caption, The weekend has started and I have started my hair makeover.
Earlier this month, Urvashi shared some memories about her first big break with the TV show “Shrikant”, released in 1987.
Urvashi posted a picture of herself on Instagram when she was a little girl. She wrote, “A grown up picture from when I was shooting for my first big break in the TV world with the show “Shrikant” (1987). Found this picture so thought to share it with you all.”
The actress further said that this picture was taken at Essel Studio (don't know if it still exists or not) which is located in a place called Trombay. It used to take me hours to reach there with my mother.
“Oh my God, what memories. I don't remember anyone pampering me the way Praveen ji did. These memories will always remain in my heart.”
The show “Srikanta” was based on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's 19171933 fourvolume novel “Srikanta”.
It told the story of a man named Srikant who falls in love with a woman named Raj Lakshmi, who takes care of him when he is suffering from the plague. However, he then meets Abhaya, who is abandoned by her husband, and falls in love with her too.
Let us tell you that Urvashi got her first big break in the shows “Dekh Bhai Dekh” and “Waqt Ki Raftar”. She received praise for her work in shows like 'Ghar Ek Mandir', 'Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli', 'Kasauti Zindagi Ki' and 'Kahin To Hoga'.
