Raj Kundra has finally broken his silence on the ongoing investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) into his properties in an alleged money laundering case. Raj shared his statement in the stories section on his Instagram handle. In his post, he claimed that he is 'fully compliant' with the ongoing investigation and termed it 'unacceptable' to drag his wife Shilpa Shetty's name into 'unrelated matters'.
Raj Kundra wrote in his post, “To anyone who is concerned that while the media loves to create drama, let's set the record straight: I have been fully compliant with the ongoing investigation for the last four years. As far as the claims of 'collaborators', 'obscene' and 'money laundering' are concerned, all I have to say is that no amount of sensationalism will be able to hide the truth, justice will prevail in the end.'' Raj further said. , “It is unacceptable to repeatedly drag my wife's name into unrelated matters. Please respect the boundaries…!!!”
Earlier, Shilpa Shetty's lawyer had issued an official statement on the reports which claimed that the ED has raided the actress' properties during its investigation. “There have been reports in the media that my client Mrs. Shilpa Shetty Kundra has been raided by the Enforcement Directorate. These news are not true and misleading. As per my knowledge, there has been no raid by Enforcement Directorate on Smt. Shilpa Shetty Kundra as she has nothing to do with any kind of crime. However, the matter in question is an ongoing investigation in relation to Mr. Raj Kundra and he is cooperating in the investigation to bring out the truth.
