When Bandra Police traced the call, it turned out to be from Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Police raided on the basis of location and found Faizan.
Shahrukh Khan received a threatening call from the mobile phone of Faizan, a resident of Pandari area in Raipur, on the land line of Bandra Police Station, but his mobile has been stolen. He told the police that his mobile had been stolen. After which the case has become more complicated.
He also told the police that he had lodged a complaint about his phone being stolen. The police have now started searching for that mobile and the thief.

After tracing the location, a police team reached Raipur and identified the person named Faizan. During interrogation, he told the police that his phone was stolen on November 2. According to the media report, the caller had said that 'Shahrukh Khan is Mannat Bandstand wala na', if he does not give me Rs 50 lakh, I will kill him. When the police asked the caller about his identity, he replied, 'It doesn't matter what my name is. If you have to write my name, then write Hindustani.' At present, the police is investigating the matter.
