'Queen' fame actress Kangana told through social media platform 'X' that the film has got the green signal from the censor board and now the movie 'Emergency' will be released in theaters on January 17 next year.
Kangana Ranaut has also shared the poster of the film on social media in which the lead actors of the film are also shown.
The actress wrote in the expost, “17 January 2025, the epic saga of the country's most powerful woman and the moment that changed the destiny of India. The film Emergency based on this will hit the theaters on January 17, 2025.
Let us tell you that the film Emergency is based on the life of the country's first woman Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film depicts the emergency imposed during the Indira Gandhi government. Kangana Ranaut will be seen in the role of former PM Indira Gandhi in the film. The special thing is that Kangana herself has taken charge of the direction of the film.
Apart from Kangana, Anupam Kher, Jaiprakash Narayan and Shreyas Talpade will be seen in the role of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the film. Apart from this, Satish Kaushik, Milind Soman and Mahila Chaudhary will also be seen in the film Emergency.
