Mumbai,. Actress Manisha Koirala went hiking in the mountains of Nepal on Sunday. The actress shared pictures from her trip on Instagram, in which she was seen walking in the Ghandruk area of Nepal.
Manisha wrote in her post, “Happy Sunday friends.. today was very special. Spent the most incredible Sunday in Ghandruk! The Annapurna range is stunning! Took a short hike around the village, explored beautiful trails and spectacular views.” Enjoyed it.”
He also visited the Ghandruk Museum and learned about the history and culture of the Gurung people.
The actress further wrote, “As the day started to wane, I watched the sunset over the Himalayas and felt grateful for this unforgettable experience! Thank you to the Gurung community who kept this place clean. If you ever get a chance to visit Ghandruk , then definitely go!”
Earlier, Manisha also appreciated the local culture, food and craftsmanship of Nepal. She traveled to Nepal on her Instagram and shared photos of traditional handmade products and local food there. Manisha also participated in an event, where she took the mic and appreciated local entrepreneurs.
She said, “Yesterday was an inspiring day! I attended an exhibition of local entrepreneurs who promoted handmade products. These communities are dedicated in preserving traditional practices and supporting sustainable local practices.”
Manisha added, “Meeting the young and dynamic Deputy Mayor of Budhanilkantha made this experience even more special. He talked about the importance of promoting local goods, which I found very inspiring.”
