Jaipur. The festival of Makar Sankranti is being celebrated with pomp across the country. There was a lot of enthusiasm among celebs regarding the festival. Wishing fans a happy Makar Sankranti, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal flew kites on the sets of the upcoming film 'Bhoot Bangla'.
The actor, who is active on social media, shared the video on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “Celebrating Makar Sankranti on the sets of 'Bhoot Bangla' with my dear friend Paresh Rawal! On the festival I wish you happiness, good vibes and fly high like kites. Happy Pongal, Uttarayan and Bihu to all of you.”
In the video shared, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal were seen standing on the terrace and flying kites. Paresh Rawal has Pareti in his hand. At the same time, Akshay was seen flying a kite.
The film makers had recently released the first look of 'Bhoot Bungalow', in which Akshay Kumar was seen holding a lantern in his hand near a bungalow and a black cat was seen standing near him.
The actor has teamed up with Priyadarshan and Paresh Rawal for Bhoot Bangla. They have given many blockbusters and films together, which include great films like 'Hera Pheri', 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', 'Garam Masala'.
The horrorcomedy film is being said to be full of entertainment. The film is being directed by Priyadarshan.
The shooting of the film is going on in Jaipur city. 'Bhoot Bangla' is being produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta R Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms and Akshay Kumar's production house, Cape of Good Films. Whereas, the coproducers are Fara Shaikh and Vedant Bali.
The story of Bhoot Bangla is written by Akash A Kaushik and the screenplay is written by Rohan Shankar, Abhilash Nair and Priyadarshan. Dialogues are by Rohan Shankar.
'Bhoot Bangla' will release in theaters on April 2, 2026.
