Mumbai: Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, who directed the movie 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani', said that he suffers from insomnia.
The filmmaker appeared on the streaming comedy show 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' along with actress Alia Bhatt, where they had a lot of fun on the show.
During a segment of the show, Kapil said that it often happens that if people go to bed before their usual time, they find it difficult to sleep, he asked Alia if something similar happens to her as well.
Karan Johar interrupted and said that he has trouble sleeping, before adding, “I am not able to sleep easily, neither with myself nor with anyone else.”
Kapil laughed after hearing this.
Recently, Karan Johar celebrated Daughters Day and shared a reel video on his Instagram with his kids Yash and Roohi on the special day.
In the video, Karan is out of the frame and is heard saying, “We are celebrating Daughters Day and Sons Day, on this occasion a chocolate cake with Yash and Roohi's name on it is placed in front of the twins. Roohi then said to Karan, “I want you to be my daddy every day.”
Karan wrote in the caption, “Equality is something I believe very strongly in and something my mother taught me. My father also respected women. Even though he may not have been able to fully understand or express empowerment, his actions reiterated his core beliefs. He tried to instill that value as a parent at an early age.”
