Kangana Ranaut starrer and directed political drama film 'Emergency' was released in theaters on January 17. This film had to face many challenges before its release due to which it was much talked about. After hitting the theaters, the film initially got a good response from the audience. Even Rasha Thadani and Aman Devgan's debut film Azaad has been hit hard by the emergency.
It has been more than a week since Kangana Ranaut's 'Emergency' was released in theatres. Based on the most controversial and sensitive emergency era of 1975 in Indian history, this film had a slow start but made good collections on the opening weekend. Although there was a significant decline in its earnings on weekdays, it did not collect less than Rs 1 crore on any day. Now 'Emergency' has reached its second week of release.
'Emergency' opened accounts with Rs 2.5 crore on the first day of its release. The film's earning on the second day was Rs 3.6 crore. On the third day 'Emergency' earned Rs 4.25 crore, on the fourth day the film's collection was Rs 1.05 crore. 'Emergency' did a business of Rs 1 crore on the fifth day. The collection of 'Emergency' on the sixth day was Rs 1 crore. The film did a business of Rs 90 lakh on the seventh day.
Now the initial figures of the earnings of the second Friday i.e. the 8th day of the film's release have come. According to Sacknilk's early trend report, 'Emergency' earned just Rs 34 lakh on the 8th day of its release with a decline of 62.22 per cent.
With this, the total earning of eight days of 'Emergency' has now reached Rs 14.64 crore.
There has been a huge decline in the earnings of 'Emergency' on the 8th day. The film has barely been able to earn a few lakh rupees. Actually, now Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahadia's Sky Force has been released in theatres. Sky Force has almost ended the game of 'Emergency' as soon as it arrives. It remains to be seen how much business Kangana Ranaut's political drama can do on the weekend in front of Akshay Kumar's film. At present, efforts are being made to cross the figure of Rs 15 lakh for 'Emergency'.
