Mumbai. This year, Janmashtami will be celebrated across the country on August 26. Actress Devolina Bhattacharjee has started preparations for this festival. She said that she will sing bhajans and perform puja on this occasion.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee said, “I will be shooting this Janmashtami. I will sing bhajans and do puja on this occasion. I will also offer Lord Krishna his favourite butter and sugar candy.”
The actress added, “I also love witnessing the Janmashtami celebrations and festive fervour in the city. The ritual of rocking the cradle with the idol of Krishna brings me closer to him. I am looking forward to celebrating Lord Krishna's birthday with reverence and joy with my family and team.”
Devoleena said, “Janmashtami means a lot to me as I have felt connected to Lord Krishna since my childhood. For me, he is not just a God but a lifelong friend who always guides and protects me. This festival is enough to celebrate his birth and feel his presence even more.”
She told that while playing the role of Gopi Bahu in 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya', she felt a deep connection with Lord Krishna. The character of Gopi is dedicated to Lord Krishna. I came even closer to the Lord while playing this character. Now during the shooting of Chhathi Maiya Ki Bitiya, I have felt the relationship with him with even more depth.
He said, “One teaching of Krishna that really guides me is the belief that Krishna is always there for you. I trust that Krishna will help me in times of trouble or difficulty.”
Devoleena Bhattacharjee said, “This faith has given me strength and peace. I am never alone. His teachings remind me that everything will be fine with his guidance.”
