Los Angeles. Oscarwinning veteran actress Kate Winslet has advised young and emerging actresses that they should not worry about making mistakes.
When asked what advice she would like to give to the new generation of actresses, she said, “It's a very good question, because I always give advice. The most important thing is that it is important to make mistakes. If we don't make mistakes, we won't learn anything new.”
He said, “Everyone makes mistakes, and there is no such thing as perfect. Just believe in yourself and stay true to yourself. If they can stay true to themselves, they will always find a foundation that will keep them grounded. Will keep you connected.”
When Kate was asked how she deals with her mistakes, she said, “Really, I have to believe in myself and keep moving forward. I try not to be hard on myself. For women It's common to be very hard on ourselves.”
She added, “It's a waste of energy, and I never want to look back in life and wish I had been a little more kind to myself. I want to do that right now, and I'll always do that.” That's what I want to do.”
Earlier this year, Shailene Woodley also praised Kate Winslet for how she helped her stay grounded. The 32yearold actress worked with Kate in the films 'Divergent' and 'Insurgent' and still remembers her advice.
Shailene shared on 'The Drew Barrymore Show', “Kate is very real, she is who she is and doesn't pretend to be herself. “He has worked hard and approached it with dignity.”
