Mumbai . Famous Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana will soon be seen in the film 'Thama'. The actor is very excited about this.
“I'm excited that Dinesh Vijan thinks this is the best time for me to enter his blockbuster horror comedy world and as Thaama,” Ayushmann told variety.com.
Ayushmann is going to be seen in a horror comedy film for the first time. This film will be released on Diwali in 2025. This film is going to make a new beginning on the film screen by adding a touch of love story to horror comedy. Along with Ayushmann, Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui will also be seen in this film.
Aditya Sarpotdar has directed it from a screenplay by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew and Arun Phulara, while Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik have produced it.
The actor spoke about the unique position of “Thama” in the horrorcomedy world. He said, “'Thamaa' horror comedy is the world's first love story which is going to be very exciting.
“It promises to be a 'bloody' love story that will give the audience a unique experience.”
Ayushmann further added, “Thaama is a project which is a complete wild card, a film that no one has seen in India. I am extremely excited to join the sets of this film and work with Dinesh and his entire team of visionaries like Amar Kaushik, my director Aditya Sarpotdar and the brilliant writer Niren Bhatt.”
The actor is very happy to be a part of this project.
Khurana said, “Dinesh and I have a similar passion. ‘Thamaa’ is our second collaboration and it is so new that I can’t wait for people’s reaction when they watch it in theaters next Diwali.”
The film follows Maddock's recent successes “Stree 2” and “Munjya”, further cementing the production house's reputation for blending horror and comedy elements.
The actor said, “'Thamaa' is very special for me. I know I will give my heart and soul to the people, hopefully they will love it unanimously.”
